1) Trigger
- Report or observation of assault causing significant injury
- Ongoing violence between individuals
- Person found injured with suspected assault
- Escalation from disorder to serious violence
2) Immediate Actions (first 60 seconds)
- Move immediately to location (do not run into unknown weapon risk—assess on approach)
- Stop ongoing violence and create distance
- Separate involved parties and control access routes
- Call for support via radio (request supervisor/Control attendance)
- Request medical assistance if required

3) Control notification (structured)
Pass clear, factual information:
- Exact location (zone / landmark)
- Nature of incident: serious assault (GBH)
- Number of persons involved
- Whether violence is ongoing / contained
- Medical requirement / severity
